The Aranhe’s are a young and energetic family of three. Having moved in from the States, this is their first house. Their major requirement was in designing their daughter’s room and their living room.
Design in Details
The family had a very young and lovely daughter. So we aimed to curate a space that gives her a true sense of belonging. And our goal here was to deliver a highly functional space for times when she plays or has her friends over.
On the other hand, their previous living room design was basic reuse of storage space. So it needed to be revamped to fit their needs and personalities.
In the execution stage, we infused a lot of colours and incorporate a bit of playfulness in all aspects of the daughter’s room. A single cum double bed was used to switch between dual functionalities.
It provides more space to play and the extendable design is useful for the times when she has sleepovers. And this proves to be an easy sleepover solution for the parents to arrange when they require a larger bed space in a single room.
As for the theme and style of the living room space, we went for a minimalist contemporary design. The integrated TV unit serves both the storage utility in the living room and fits the overall design theme. We made use of floating shelves to highlight the collectables they’ve acquired throughout their travels.
We included a large storage space underneath the TV. And the floating shelves allow for more physical space while visually filling up lesser space. The rounding of the furniture designs made it safe for the child and her friends to play around.

As a result, we were able to deliver a truly functional and personalised space that spelt elegance and charm throughout. Our efficient design solutions were not only aesthetically pleasing but also helped the family make better use of their space. Above all, we cherished every single moment that we spent working with this dynamic family and delivered them a home that exceeded their expectations.
